The one thing about this volunteering testing that I don't like is the part of boredom. Every day is the same (my roommate is awesome though) and you have nothing to do but just lying around, little bit walking and discovering. Just not enough and I still have 2 more weeks to go....

Luckily I still have my Marley earphones to listen my favourite songs, that eases the time a little bit.

Sometimes testing needs to happen in style, sooooo....... Leather jackets, skinny jeans en sjawls :)

Hungry, soooooo Hungry!! It's some time ago that I wrote on this blogg, but now I finally found some time. Right now I'm just in bed, doing nothing. Why? Because I'm doing volunteer work, medicine-testing. Problem: not enough food. At least, not for me, I usually eat alot, really alot! Now I get smaller portions... But for a good goal, helping to make people healthy again!

 I guess I'm more Latina.... My legs immediatly start dancing when I hear Latin, I can't stop it. Salsa alll the way, When I haven't heard salsa one day in my life, I go crazy. I need to listen to it and dance my little white ass booty off!! It's like a disease with no cure, and I love it. I can't wait to go to Rio de Janeiro one day and enjoy Carnaval on its best. That's why I'm trying to vollunteer for the olympics of 2016, that way I can go to Rio with a good excuse and maybe not return ;)

Today my niece is leaving for Australia. It will be her first time really away from her mom and dad. So I wish her the best and the best time of her life!! I can't wait to hear her stories and see all the pictures :) So good luck Michelle, and remember to come back, because we all love you <3

 

Okay, I'm now back for a week and I want to go away again.... Is that really strange? No, I guess everybody has that feeling after a holiday. From holiday to back-to-normal-life(BtnL) again. And normal life gets me hard again. An empty fridge, loads of homework, cleaning. Where is mommy when you need her? Again, living on your own, it has its pro's and cons. This week it was a con, but that's just normal. And maybe I should also go to rehab, cause I really want to go shopping, but I don't have any money, only money to fill my fridge again and thats it, too bad for me.... So these last days were very very long and I need a good sleep to recover, to recover from the holiday and college :)

Berlin was absolutely great! An experience to never forget. It's one of the most interesting cities. Onces torn apart in pieces and enemies behind walls. Now a big capital, where beauty and awarness of the past are combined. Ofcourse I didn't only see the important stuff and the beautiful buildings, I also saw alot of shops and malls from the inside.... ;) I was in Berlin with two of my collegefriends and my mom, we had a stunning apartment, with high ceilings. The location was perfect as well, almost right in the ciity centre, but also in a neighbourhood with alot of Turkish shops. That was a great experience as well, all the yelling and screaming, trying to sell their veggies and stuff....

Tomorrow my holiday is starting, I'm going away for a week. Destination: Berlin!

As a fulltime student, I also have a job in the weekends that pay the rent.Where I work, there is also a drive-thru. I always end up at the drive-thru. Normally at the weekend, I work till 2 in the morning. It can be quite boring work, but ofcourse there is also a fun part. I'm quite a shy girl, until I moved out, now I'm outgoing. You should all try it ;-) So in these days, drive-thru flirting has become a hobby for me, so time will pass faster and I can go to sleep. It's quite funny, making the boys a bit uncomfortable and not telling my phonenumber (I'm always professionel at work!) . They are also quite confused when its not that busy and I can walk everywhere and I also give them their food, they start thinking; Wasn't she standing their 2 minutes ago?? Love it! Conclusion: When you love your sleep, don't work at restaurants with a drive-thru. When you don't love your sleep, still don't do it, but when you decide to still do it: Start drive-thru flirting! You gotta love the attention... 

Somehow I always get the weirdest ideas when I'm having chocolate... And when my friends are around, we go all crazy! We just make up some wierd stories and go all wild with normal stuff lying around. A few days ago, there was a story about a nerd-bear and some kind of hippo. I don't know what happened anymore that much, (high on chocolate and apple juice) but now I have pictures of myself trying to be sexy with a hippo... Makes me remember those days with my brother, when we would be in the car, make up some stories and in the end we always ended up hitting eachother :) I guess that happens in every family. But back to the story.

Chocolate: enemy, friend or frenemy?? I guess frenemy, friendly when im a densel in need, but an enemy when i go and weigh myself. A girl thing?? No, definetly not, I know a boy who weighs himself everyday and seems a bit anorexic. It makes me want to stuff chocolate down to his stomach! Arrrrghhh, he is skinnier then me, not good. So to close this story, when you know you get "high" on chocolate and apple juice, don't have stuffed animals (especially hippo's) around!!

As a student, I live on my own. My own room, my own fridge, my own life. No mommy and daddy around anymore, nobody telling me what to do. Sometimes great, sometimes, errrrr, not so great.... Great things?? I can eat evrything with nobody telling me: That's not yours!! Bad thing: I have to buy my own food. But I have, like everyone, my little temptations. my temptations are chocolate (duh!!) and apple juice. I know, apple juice!! I can't stay away from it and I just have to drink it when it's in my fridge, every bottle of it. Ofcourse my brother tought me how to "drink-like-a-man". You need the following stuff: a fridge, something to drink and nobody around. 

 

Step 1: Open the fridge

Step 2: Take the bottle

Step 3: Leaf the fridge open

Step 4: Check if nobody is around

Step 5: Start drinking, not from a glass, but straight from the bottle

Step 6: When done drinking, close bottle, put it back in the fridge and close the fridge again

 

This is the manual, enjoy your drinking-like-a man-time!!

 

Well, I'm the new girl in town. Maybe I'm doing this because I'm bored, maybe because I want to inspire people. I don't know yet. Let's start the story about me here. I'm just that girl next door, nothing special, just average. My passion is history and i can be quite a dork. My dorky and nerdy side is that I like Star Wars, read comic books and play video games. I guess every girl has that side in her or I hope that im not the only one.... So for the ones who are interessted, I study archaeology. It's not like Indiana Jones or something. Digging in the snow isn't that much fun, but when I listen to the stories my teachers tell me in college, I can just dream away, almost like I lived in that specific time. Weird right?? But dont worry, I'm also interessted in fashion, hair and make-up. I dont't use alot of make-up and usually wear my college clothes, which means warm sweater and jeans. Why?? When you go in the field to dig, you really really don't want your most beautiful clothes to get all dirty.
